The challenge

A landscaper had sandstone feature boulders and a pallet of retaining blocks to get into a finished Mudgeeraba backyard. Every access route ran across new turf and a stamped-concrete driveway the owners were understandably protective of, and the boulders were far too heavy to barrow.

How we did it

We set up on the driveway apron with plates under the legs and lifted the rocks one at a time over the fence, placing each where the landscaper wanted it staged so he wasn't shifting them twice. The blocks went over on the pallet in a single lift.

The outcome

Every rock landed in position with no tracks across the turf and no marks on the driveway, and the landscaper started building the wall the same afternoon.
