The challenge

A builder needed a full truss and frame pack placed directly onto the top plate of a two-storey build in a new North Lakes estate. The lot was narrow, the ground still soft from grading, and houses either side were within a metre of the boundary.

How we did it

We started early before the other trades arrived so the street was clear, set up on plated legs at the front to spread the load on the soft verge, and delivered the pack in staged lifts in the order the carpenters wanted them. Each bundle was placed onto the plate rather than the ground.

The outcome

No double handling and no manual lifting to the upper level — the crew started standing trusses the same morning, and the verge and neighbouring driveways were left undamaged.
